Open dishes of water or sugar water drown small ants. This glass feeder lets the liquid seep into a narrow channel at the base, so workers can drink from the edge while the reservoir stays clean and evaporates slowly.

Clean it with warm water between refills so the sugar water does not ferment or grow mould.
